Who’s in the Kitchen

I’m Ramon Ruiz, a private chef in the New York and New Jersey City area. My passion for food goes beyond liking to cook. I simply love it!  My cooking inspiration comes from wholesome fresh ingredients and spices from around the world. Like my food inspiration, my cooking style focusses on bold flavors, fresh ingredients in a simplistic way.

I’m a frequent contributor to the Examiner food section,  I  also write weekly food blogs for Foodbuzz  and foodfrenzy under NJ Food Czar. In addition, I’m the chief baker behind Gingerbirdstore Organic Bakery with my partner Jon Rappleye and I’m also the chief  creator of  jersey city Underground Supper Club.
